Press Release Summary: Wildwood Antique Mall & Auction House will hold a sale
dedicated exclusively to Royal Doulton. Over 250 lots of medium to high end Royal
Doulton figures will cross the block.

Press Release Body: The owner of Wildwood Antique Mall & AUCTION HOUSE, Manny Pesco,
has been working for the past several months with a major Central Florida collector
of Royal Doulton to present a sale focused exclusively on quality products from the
renowned English porcelain figure maker. The entire sale will come from the single
collection. The 250+ lots offered in the sale will consist of many more single
figures than the number of lots because some have more than one figure like examples
in the Peter Rabbit series.

Included in the inventory are a number of lots with the "HN" designation of artist
Harry Nixon who was in charge of decorating the figures beginning in 1913. Among the
"HN's" are "Christmas Day 2006" HN4899, "Serenity. Images of Nature" HN 3543, signed
by Michael Doulton, "The Gift of Life" mare and foal, HN3254, from the "Reflections
Series" is "Promenade" HN3072 and "St. George" Style I, HN2067.

Also included will be the bust of two wolves modeled by Alan Maslankowski, head of
the Doulton Modeling Department. It is called "Wolves" "Art is Life" AIL#3, and is
number 17 of a limited edition of 1500 issued in 2001. Other lots include a Ronald
Reagan character jug commissioned by the Republican National Committee as a fund
raiser for the Brady Trust issued in 1984 as an edition limited to 2000, D6718, a
character jug of Capt. Hook with the crocodile and clock handle, D6597, Bunnykins
"Trick or Treat" DB152, one of 1500 and several lots from the Beatrix Potter Peter
Rabbit series including "Two Gentlemen Rabbits" P4210 produced only in 2002 and "Sir
Isaac Newton" P2425.

Royal Doulton began in 1815 as Jones, Watts, and Doulton in London. By 1853 the
company was known simply as Doulton. After purchasing Pinder, Bourne & Co. of
Burslem, England in 1882 it began the production of the fine porcelain for which it
is so well known today. In 1901 King Edward VII awarded the firm a Royal Warrant
which allowed it to adopt new markings and call itself "Royal Doulton." After that
the company began production of its famous decorative line of "Series Ware" such as
the "Gibson Girl" plates in 1901, "Dickens ware" pottery and figurines in 1911 and
the "Robin Hood" series in 1914 among many others.
